To register for our supportive services for veterans you must complete the following:
1. Be enrolled as a qualifying veteran with Missouri Career Source at www.missouricareersource.com or in person at the FEC office at 1740 Paseo; Kansas City, MO.
2. Verify and complete the Membership questions at https://membership.missouricareersource.com/default.aspx.
3. Complete the WIN Reading, Math and Locating Information Skills Assessment at http://dedwf.wincshost.com/default.php. (We must enroll you into the service to set-up your log-in ID and password to allow you access).
These steps can be completed on-line at www.missouricareersource.com or in person at the FEC office at 1740 Paseo; Kansas City, MO.
Once you complete the WIN assessment e-mail me at michael.bruns@ded.mo.gov. I will then retrieve the results from the WIN system and record your scores into your Full Employment Council (FEC) system (Toolbox) records which will allow us to determine what Workforce Investment Act (WIA) services you may qualify for.
Once this is completed we will meet to discuss your scores and objectives to determine what type of program aligns with our discussion and your test results. You will then be issued the appropriate “Team Card”. Blue is for Skills and Green is for Employment.
At any time you can call or e-mail me with any questions?
