Community Impact

Making our community a healthier place to live.

Hope Faith is committed to finding new, innovative ways to make this community a better place to live for its homeless and low-income residents. The organization’s Community Garden and Training Kitchen bring healthy food alternatives and cooking classes right to the doorstep of area individuals and families. With the generous support of the William T. Kemper Foundation and KCP&L’s Business Energy Efficiency match, Hope Faith installed LED lighting, significantly reducing lighting cost and its negative environmental impact.

The amount of air pollution reduced per year is 695, 623 lbs. of CO2 or the equivalent of 66 cars removed from the road
